The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 12 contest against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Running back Elijah Mitchell is still in a blue no-contact jersey, per the only reporter on hand to watch Friday's practice, Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Mitchell is still recovering from surgery to repair a finger fracture.

"[H]e appeared to be doing more with right hand than Wed[nesday]," wrote Barrows.

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw (groin) continues to practice. The team expects to activate Greenlaw and defensive end Dee Ford (back) from injured reserve before Sunday's game. Neither's participation level is being listed within the practice participation reports because neither is on the active roster.
