Former NFL offensive lineman turned sports broadcaster and analyst Ross Tucker doesn't "believe for a second" that the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks will enter Week 1 of the 2022 season with one of their current quarterbacks as the starter. The San Francisco 49ers announced that they have signed tight end Troy Fumagalli to a one-year deal. To make room on the roster, the team waived tight end Garrett Walston.
Fumagalli was among the tryout players at the 49ers' rookie minicamp. Something noteworthy: The tight end's left index finger was amputated due to a condition known as amniotic band syndrome.
