Former 49ers GM Baalke back in NFL front office with Jaguars

Trent Baalke is back in the NFL's player-evaluation business more than three years after he was fired as the 49ers general manager. Baalke, 55, was hired Tuesday as the Jaguars' director of player personnel. Baalke had spent the past two seasons working for the NFL as an operations consultant.

Antonio Brown could shift balance of power away from 49ers, says former NFL executive

There is a whole lot of speculation right now that Antonio Brown might rejoin quarterback Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. The veteran wide receiver played one game last year with Brady in New England and even hauled in a touchdown for the Patriots. Of course, that story has already been disputed. Should Brown land with an NFC team like the Buccaneers, though, some believe that it could be enough to shift the balance of power within the conference. Raheem Mostert asking to be 49ers' highest-paid running back, per report

News broke on Wednesday that San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert has requested a trade after what his agent described as months of unproductive contract talks. Mostert is signed through the 2021 season but will earn a base salary of just $2.575 million this year. Mostert and his agent either want a new deal or want the running back to go to a team that will offer him one. What exactly is Mostert requesting from the 49ers?
