HOUSTON - The sad-sack 49ers suddenly can't lose. What a difference a quarterback makes. In Jimmy Garoppolo's second start with the team, the 49ers beat the Texans, 26-16, at NRG Stadium to improve to 3-10 and give them their first in-season winning streak since November 2014. Garoppolo overcame a shaky start, which included an interception on his second drive, to complete 20 of 33 passes for 334 yards with a touchdown. He became the third 49ers quarterback to win his first two road starts since 1970, and the fourth active QB to win his first four career starts.
