The 49ers have signed cornerback Will Davis, a 2013 third-round pick who has sustained two torn ACLs in a career that includes one interception and five pass breakups in 20 games with the Dolphins and Ravens. In October 2015, two games after he was traded to the Ravens for a seventh-round pick, Davis sustained a torn ACL for the second time in 11 months. Davis joins a cornerback corps that includes Rashard Robinson, Keith Reaser, Dontae Johnson and rookie Ahkello Witherspoon, a third-round pick.
