Whoa, Bo: 49ers' Shanahan impressed by All-Pro's recovery After discussing Reuben Foster's cloudy future this morning, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan talked about another inside linebacker's sunny present. On KNBR, Shanahan said he "couldn't be more excited" about All-Pro NaVorro Bowman, who was a full participant last week in the first offseason minicamp after he sustained a torn Achilles tendon on Oct. 2. Amid reports Foster will need a follow-up surgery, Shanahan said the team's doctors "felt good" about his shoulder and a "worst-case scenario" would be that the rookie will have a second procedure and miss 2017.
