anyway, anyone else excited to see this kid play tonight?

He's not playing. He's still rehabbing from his torn ACL.

Paraag Marathe loves dragging this stuff out.

It was such an absurd comment.
I wonder how this kid will do in our offense?

Crazy, I forgot all about him.

We're not at that faze of our season yet, Thank God lol.
This is the dude. Roll with Mac next year, let Rourke back him up and build a reliable oline.
lol damn ya'll are fast.
Glad to see the opened Rourke's practice window. I think he'll be the key to what happens with Mac Jones next year. He had 29 TDs to just 5 interceptions his last year at school, with a 69% completion average and all that on a torn ACL. If he can learn the system and bring some of those college numbers with him into the NFL, he could be just the kind of back-up you want. I really like what Jones did for us this year, but as a former first round pick I imagine he will want to parlay that into starter's money somewhere. On the other hand, as a 7th round pick, Rourke may not have those kind of expectations.

Id rather keep Jones and get the 3rd round comp pick in 2028. Unless someone offers a 1st which we can parlay into a starting lineman, keep Jones.

Keep them both. Rourke is impressive and he played through a significant injury and still played at a high level. He's mobile, he has perfect size and he has a good arm. He's a mixture of Brock and Mac. He seems to read the field well and makes good decisions, give him a solid line, let's see what he can do after a year in Kyles offense. Imo he's one of the most complete QB's we've had in the building in a long time if you look at size, mobility, arm strength, field vision and ball placement.

Brock has been great but he's also had his bad moments and he's had a spotty injury history. Between these 3 QBs, we have a solid group, every one of them can succeed in Kyle's offense and have the ability to keep the offense on track if one of them goes down.

hope so
Should of had a lot of time to digest the Playbook. Now it is time for him to practice that knowledge. Probably not in a live game(Things have gone really south if he does), but rather get out there on the practice field.
Son of Derek Smith?

Probably going to practice for the 21 day window and then go back to IR. I don't see room or a reason for him on the 53 and if they don't activate him they will have to cut him and take a chance to resign him to the practice squad.
Vince McMahon here he comes !!!!
