Aiyuk has shown his hand, it wasn't all about the money… he had several offers willing to pay him more but refused to the very last second once he knew we were not joking that was the final offer and we were about to ship him off to Pittsburgh. It doesn't matter if it was 3 weeks or a couple of months his whole prerogative was to go to Washington even more so than the $

It wasn't a few weeks either according to Breer's reporting, or Aiyuk's agent. The idea that Aiyuk signed the same deal that was offered three weeks earlier is disputed. The only source of that information is a leak from the 49ers.

We already knew it wasn't solely about the money. He wanted to play here at fair market value, and he was willing to sign here for slightly less than the top of his market (see NE's offer).

"I just had a feel for what I wanted, not just in terms of money, but in all those things," Aiyuk said, via The Associated Press. "Ultimately, I wanted to be here and ended up being here. So I'm happy and ready to go."

Describing a situation inaccurately isn't a problem of semantics. Since07's language is very clear in its meaning.
It's still irrelevant

A day, weeks, months. He still waited to sign the last offer made

How can you say it wasn't a few weeks also, because of what Breer said

is Breer more reputable than Schefty, who said it was offered August 12th?

I agree, 2-3 weeks a month whatever the point is he held out and decided to sign at the last second when he had teams willing to pay him "a lot more" cash. Smokey is right but it comes off as "Actually 🤓"

See the end of the sentence you're referencing:

'It wasn't a few weeks either according to Breer's reporting, or Aiyuk's agent.'

The 49ers leaked the offer was the same. Breer's reporting and Aiyuk's agent dispute the information provided in the leak.

Perfect reading on your part, as always.

The point is you are forming an opinion with a lot of incorrect and disputed information. I'm trying to help sort out what is known, and what's disputed, in order for you to have a stronger opinion. One that actually makes sense with what happened then, and what's happening now.

We see how Brandon Aiyuk is acting now that he wants out and wants to play for Washington. It's a lot different than what he did during his contract negotiation, where you believe his 'whole prerogative' was to play for Washington then.

What opinion am I forming I said Aiyuk accepted the contract at the last second. "A lot of incorrect information" what the amount of time we gave him to sign it?

I pointed to it in the post you're replying to:

'It doesn't matter if it was 3 weeks or a couple of months his whole prerogative was to go to Washington even more so than the $'

You also were arguing with Tigerlaw about Kyle Shanahan's role in Aiyuk re-signing here, even though those details have been reported by multiple sources and confirmed, at least in part, directly by Kyle Shanahan. There were downstream effects from this, within the organization, which was initially reported by Michael Silver. Here is that reporting (which I linked a handful of posts back):

Breer is not on a scale of schefter for reporting. So to ignore this/schefter is putting your head in the sand

your sources, Breer is always suspect and the Agent who BA can't trust shouldn't be your hill you're trying to die on

but again, the timeline isn't the main point here and still irrelevant.

it's the circus BA brought when he made it harder on everyone

Do you think that's an opinion? He reportedly turned down more cash from other teams and only signed when we pushed the envelope. During the negotiations he was posting himself FaceTime with Jayden Daniels. It's not too hard to connect the dots.

Tried to read the article you posted but it's blocked, I'm not going to say Kyle/Lynch/Paarag are free of blame but to point it at them is ridiculous. Aiyuk signed the deal they laid out right before he was about to be traded and Tigerlaw was blaming/making the case that's Kyle's fault
Uh oh BA unfollowed Jayden Daniel's.
