May have cost a SB.

such a weird injury.
No more of our Linebackers looking completely lost or completely outmatched.

Easily cost us a SB. Kelce was done. 1 catch, 2 yards and a coach push by halftime. AFTER injury, what 8 catches 90 yards and 1 TD in an overtime game????

Greenlaw is the 4th best coverage lb (per PFF) Over the last few years.

I still love that 2 int GB playoff game!!!!
The stop at the 1 inch line vs Seattle to secure the #1 seed!!!!

f**king brutal. Glad to have him back, even if he's not fully healthy.

Agreed the price for him wasn't bad at all. It was basically the injured price instead of 12 million a year it was 7 million a year. If he could stay somewhat healthy through the playoffs, we have a very good chance at the SB.

Two past their prime linebackers trying to stay relevant.

I know you're joking but that made me laugh thinking Fred is past his prime

Also I think Dre deep down regrets leaving last year and he clearly missed Fred

The funny thing is that I feel it actually worked out for us with Greenlaw. Players are usually better most of the time and feeling like themselves 1-2 year removed from their injuries. Add in we also got a 4th rounder in return for him as the cherry on top.

I dont think his inury cost us the SB, his replacement went in #45 Curtis (something) and played really well

I absolutely think that he played a big part in our loss in the Super Bowl when he went down. IIRC at that point in time KC was doing absolutely nothing on offense and Kelce had like barely a catch or so and was screaming at Andy on the sidelines. Theres a reason Maholmes pointed out that Dre had gone down, he most likely knew it would open up things.

Curtis Robinson #45, that is who subbed in for DG in the SB.

Out of all the flukiness that happened during that SB, that one is at the top of the list as to why we lost.
1) Greenlaw injury
2) Muffed punt (self inflicted but rarely happened all season)
3) CMC fumble (self inflicted but rarely happened all season)
4) Not moving the ball after getting an interception at midfield
5) OT decision
6) 3rd and 4 Burford not even touching Chris Jones. Not even a chip or simply a bad block. No block

I feel like I'm missing something, but if one of those things goes our way we probably win that game

Don't forget all the penalties that were ignored. Dre going down was huge. He came through in the playoffs if you recall
