I dont think his inury cost us the SB, his replacement went in #45 Curtis (something) and played really well

I absolutely think that he played a big part in our loss in the Super Bowl when he went down. IIRC at that point in time KC was doing absolutely nothing on offense and Kelce had like barely a catch or so and was screaming at Andy on the sidelines. Theres a reason Maholmes pointed out that Dre had gone down, he most likely knew it would open up things.

Ugh. Delete this clip please. Id rather watch drone footage from ukraine.

lol sorry.

Hopefully we put a "No jumping up and down all game" as a clause

May have cost a SB.

such a weird injury.

Out of all the flukiness that happened during that SB, that one is at the top of the list as to why we lost.
1) Greenlaw injury
2) Muffed punt (self inflicted but rarely happened all season)
3) CMC fumble (self inflicted but rarely happened all season)
4) Not moving the ball after getting an interception at midfield
5) OT decision
6) 3rd and 4 Burford not even touching Chris Jones. Not even a chip or simply a bad block. No block

I feel like I'm missing something, but if one of those things goes our way we probably win that game

The practice field total trash, so the team didn't practice like they might have otherwise.

Do you guys think Dre signed a 1 year deal because he plans to test F/A again next offseason?

Maybe the 1 year deal was a team decision?

Your questions intrigued me enough to attempt research. It was mildly surprising when Denver cut him loose after one season. I thought it was surprising when Washington did the same with Deebo.

The one headline that made me stop and think was: Broncos Double Down on Culture After Dre Greenlaw Misfire. Hmm. OK. So what does that mean? The writer is trying to say something. I just can't say what it was. It sounds like the Broncos gave Dre's FA money to two other guys who "fit the culture." Does this mean they are better than Dre? Or did Dre have a hard time with adapting to a new defense? Sean Payton did say he loved the "passion" that Dre brought to the Broncos. But not much beyond that. Then there's another hint that Dre did not live up to expectations.

Because Dre was injured for half of the season? As 49ers fans, we are used to that with Greenlaw. He hasn't been able to stay on the field. When he's healthy, he's awesome. But, he does get hurt. A lot. One thing is for sure. Dre signed with SF for a lot less money. But, it's only a one-year deal. So, perhaps Dre will give FA the old college try again after the end of the upcoming season.
