Indeed. I thought Syracuse looked like crap tbph

Cal was battling the new coaching experience and travellign west coast to east coast. cal probably wins it by 17 at home vs syracuse
Somehow gotten worse than last year

Hired a 1st year HC who made his name by recruiting. It will take 2-3 seasons for him to really start changing the program

Can't recruit well if you look like straight dookie on the field. Just basic middle school offense. If Tosh doesn't make a change, but rather rides the season with same OC, he is doomed.

already had a top commitment re-open recruitment

I'm working on AI modeling of CFB using cfbdata api, so it downloads 10 years+ of plays to build out the math models.

It definitely still has some flaws I'm working on.

Right now it only include P4 teams + Notre Dame.

Cal has the 5th worst power rating. Bottom 5 (worst is #1)
1. Stanford
2. Rutgers
3. Boston College
4. Purdue
5. California

Cal's Offense actually does very well against havoc-based defensive plays (ie blitzes) and defense plays well with a lead.

Cal's rush offense has just about the worst "explosive" rating in the nation. And Cal's defense has one of the worst run-stuff ratings.
