It's cruel tbh. Some people treat they pets as children. I sure as hell don't but I wouldn't ask them to get rid of a pet for my sake.

Ehh he was part of a group (Dio Madden, Olmos and others) who were going to the PC when not at tapings for extra work. It was speculated it was because Vince doesn't see Lee as a star yet and is trying to improve and refine some areas.

He is still main roster, just doing extra PC work.
