GSP and Thiago Alves, IMO, have two of the best Superman punches in the game.

what's the difference between a heel hook, leg lock and knee bar?

Aren't they all similar due to the fact that they put pressure on your knee in one form or another?

I believe the leg lock and the knee bar are almost the same thing because they put pressure on your knee. The heel hook f**ks up your heel/ankle.

A heel hook is basically performed when the fighter is facing you and his leg is crossed over your body with his heel tucked under your armpit with you locking it like your putting him in a headlock, bending your body putting pressure on the heel.

knee bar is performed almost like an arm bar, keeping the fighters leg straight with either foot on his other leg (depending from side mount or guard), falling back putting pressure on the knee.

leg lock is basically a term for for the locks on the leg, heel hook, knee bar, ankle locks.

pwned!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is a Sambo leg lock.

that dude is bad ass!!! With his crazy ass pants.
UFC 106 this November will see the return of the New York Badass, Phil Baroni. I've never been a fan of his because of his cocky attitude, but the dude can bang. His opponent...Amir Sadollah. Yikes. I don't know if Amir can handle a punch from Baroni. Amir does have good BJJ so hopefully he can catch Baroni with a guillotine choke.

Amir just needs to whether the first few minute storm and Baroni will gas out. Then Amir can submit him.

that's pretty awesome. I'll set it to record on my DVR. I usually hate MTV shows, but this looks like it's worth watching!!! thanks!

shields whooped that dudes as.. The brotha in the second vid could take a punch. It's just amazing to me how your average tough guy off the street can get their ass beat so easily by someone who practices martial arts.
