He was out on his feet from the knockdown 30 secs earlier and probably still hurt from the original knockdown too.

I don't think it was fixed. The punch didn't look like much but it was solid, on the button and when forrest was moving forward so he ran right into it. On top of that, he was already a little wobbly from earlier strikes. Gotta agree though, funniest thing I've seen so far in the UFC.

Exactly, Griffin looked way out of it long before that and he got hit right on the button and he wasn't expecting it. That performance by Silva was just dominant!

Good to see BJ back in top form too

Forrest was probably injured coming into the fight.
His strikes from the beginning had no power behind it. On top of that his plan was to take the fight to the ground. Not 1 shoot.

I agree. If Griffen was that badly hurt, then how the hell was he able to run a mile to get out of the arena. Something was up, griffen didn't look like himself the whole fight.

I've seen Griffin fight with a bloody face and win (Shogun Rua), you mean to tell me a little freaking jab is gonna hurt Griffin like that...I don't buy it one bit, and like you mentioned, he got up right after that and ran off. BS all the freaking way!!!

Bingo!!! So all of a sudden Griffin goes against his fight plan. And after hes been knocked down, he still stands and strikes. Forrest has been dropped many times and got back up from worst, anyone remember his slug fest with Stehpan Bonner??

I don't think he was. People are talking like it took one jab to k.o. him but that's not true. Anderson had already droped him 2 times. That jab was just the final straw.

Yep. Two of my favorite fighters!

Also, watching it again, I think Forrest was half defending, half pleading for mercy. The second knock down is probably what hurt him most.
