Also, huge slap in the face to Miocic to not get an immediate rematch after having more successful consecutive title defenses in the division's history. Yeah, it was only 3 in a row, but lets go ahead and throw a known steroid user in there who is 0-2 with a NC in his last 3 fights in the Octagon.
The UFC needs to be better than this. Chasing ratings by pulling stupid stunts is only gonna hurt their numbers in the long run. It illegitimizes the sport.

It's a slap in the face to all the top guys in the division. Maybe that's why the Ngannou and Black Beast fight was so lame, they knew they had nothing to fight for so they put on that pathetic display of standing around jabbing at air.

Ngannou already has had a shot at the belt and who has Lewis beaten that warrants him a chance? It was last night and he failed to deliver. If he had convincingly defeated Ngannou he would have been so much closer to a title shot and why the heck wouldn't he want that?
