Lol RDA vs Alarez is what im least excited for, expecting RDA to win, but can never count Eddie out. Im much more excited for Joanna vs Claudia

So whatre your guys thoughts on Jones being ranked #1 greatest ufc fighter ever ahead of Silva and GSP on fox sports? Think its absolsute b******t. Maybe one day he'll earn that spot, but to put him ahead of Silva now is a joke, maybe he is better than gsp already but I think even thats a stretch at this point in his career

imo,

1. Silva

2. GSP
3. Jones

Silva is the best there was and ever will be, if you want to make the argument Jones is already better than him then I just dont get it. Imo he needs to get his belt back and defend it a few more times before im willing to even comepare him to silva, and if he wants to be better than silva he needs to finish his opponents more often. Dude has never knocked out anyone. How can he be considered better than silva who knocked out nearly everyone? Ppl are getting caught up in the hype and moment. Dismissing eveything Anderson accomplished, and I think a lot of it had to do with the one failed drug test coming off a broken leg at the age of 40.

We are not even half way through Jones' career, he is still very young (28 I think), Silva didnt lose until he was 37.

Its great to watch UFC, but real life brawling that ive been and seen, takes the cake, one hit knockouts with guys that punch sound through air, 5th dans beaten to a pulp in bloody auckland pub fights, monsters with gorilla fists that make even cassius clay think twice, jake the muss aint just a movie, its about wild animals caged at your local zoo bar.
Yah but sooo many variables in these club /bar fights. I've seen two brothers whup a steroiders ass and humbled him . (Unfair)
I've seen headbutts , biting and back in the day some Mexicans pulled out tasers and chains. I was actually glad the cops showed up. I was light on the
supplies.

Silva entered the ufc with 4 losses. Okami one was a bit bunk. But he was straight submitted by Ryo chonan in pride. He's an unquestioned great fighter but there's knocks on his resume. Donald cerrone just ko'd cote but yet Anderson couldn't and cowboy is a lightweight lol. Jon Jones has a very legitimate case for best ever. He walked right through shogun and lyoto at a time when they were head and shoulders above the rest of the 205ers. Prior to Jones subbing rampage only Sakuraba had done it. They're both great and there really is no right answer.

I am aware silva had losses but those were prior to his UFC career. Im referring to his UFC career. Woulda been interesting to see what Jones could do in pride. Shogun and Machida were old when Jones fought them bro, im aware Shogun was the champ at the time, but doesnt mean he was in his prime, the LHW divison was shallow at the time.

And middleweight wasn't? Cote lutter and Marquardt fighting for titles I don't think his reign is as long if rockhold jacare Romero weidman etc were around at that time.

He finished Dan Henderson.... in his prime....

Cool. I've never said he wasn't a great fighter. Jones ran through a bunch of guys who will be hall of famers. U can call them passed their prime or play whatever angle u please to nudge Anderson ahead of Jones. I don't have a horse in the race. Neither are my fav fighters. Anderson beat Franklin and hendo in the ufc. A lot of the other ones are meh to me
So when I analyze it I value accomplished fighters who may or may not be in their prime over the cotes the marquhardts the irvins the lutters the leites of the world. As I said there's no real right answer but it seems u just want everyone to agree with u. It's not that cut and dry. It's a very close call.

Dont get me wrong. I believe Jones has the POTENTIAL to be the GOAT. I just have a problem with ppl claiming he already is. It reminds of Lebron James, and how everyone was quick to say he is better than Jordan.

that is the difference, bar brawls are raw and straight to the point, you cringe and fear whats gonna happen, but a ufc match is a exciting controlled entertainment, wouldnt wanna be in both. But the auckland gorillas arent steroids, theyre natural big gorillas by birth.
