***2025-26 NBA Season Thread***

Lol OkC was talmbout being better than warriors at any point during our run
Poor Chet Holmgren. Wemby defeated him before he even stepped on the court. How did he get all-NBA over Bam?
Game 1 of the NBA Finals was a great game. ... We're going to have a good series.
They don't call Brunson the "Clutch King" for nothing. He has been doing this throughout his career. Spurs thought this would at least go down to the wire but Brunson said no chance.

Knicks took Wemby out of his element last night. Icing on the cake was dribbling off his foot leading to a TO late in the 4th.

Yeah Knicks match up better vs Spurs than the Thunder. It was evident in the reg season. Spurs better win game 2.
I didn't expect the Knicks to be pouring it on the Spurs in SA like this. But, playing clown music during their starting line-up announcement probably isn't helping. Whoever's idea that was should probably be looking for a new job tomorrow.
That needed a challenge? lol refs
Now they are reviewing an obvious goaltend? F**king Tony Brothers.
The Knicks are up 2-0 but the jobs not done.

Agreed. ... I acknowledge the Spurs have a good organization, but I really can't stand them winning all the time.

I don't care if they have been down for a few years (until they got Wemby), I will be happy if they lose.
So the Spurs have been clowning the Knicks during the intros for both games 1 and 2 with cartoon music. I thought it was original and funny but also strangely "okay" for a visiting player. That cartoon music is that famous piece, 'les toreadors" and is played during F1 championship trophy presentations, I learned, lol.
The games have been pretty close and just a few plays have made the difference in the winners. I wouldn't completely count the Spurs out unless they lose game 3, but it could easily go back to SA tied 2-2 if they Knicks don't keep up the intensity and relax in NY.

Knicks might be playing too tight, a lot of hype around teh game.
Curious how Castle loading up and trucking Brunson was not a flagrant, but that jumper contest was.
