if Ja stays outta trouble, that's a steal. not counting on it. hopefully Dame and Jrue can have some influence. nice to get out from under Grant's contract.

guess it's time to dust off my old Jail Blazers gear.
What a blessing for the lakers. At least now they can get swept again without him and his massive contract.

I'm not a fan of Miles Bridges, nor should anyone considering what he did to his SO, but this was almost purely a financial move, as it clears Allen and Royce off the books in return for Bridges expiring, which might become much more valuable at the trade deadline.

Ja needs to stay out of trouble but also, can he stay healthy? He has not looked like the guy he was 4-5 years ago. Crazy that two of the most intriguing draft prospects of the last 10 years not named Victor Wetbanana were in that class and both have become major disappointments who can't stay on the court.

yup. it's a good deal for PDX. trade cost practically nothing. Jerami Grant was getting paid big money to be average and wasn't starting anymore. Murray's been a bench player. KOC said Ja was playing back to near All Star level when he came back from his last injury.

still an outside shot they make a move for Jaylen Brown. im hoping that a possible trade won't include Scoot, Clingan or Hansen. not sure what the plan is but they just resigned Time Lord. team has like 6 or 7 Guards currently on the roster but still needs depth at Forward.

The Lakers informed Lebron he wasn't coming back to the Lakers at his desired price when they re-signed Austin Reeves
Utah just got 4 first round picks for a guy who played 64 games in the last 2 years. I do actually like what Lakers did today and yesterday though I still think it's a 2nd round exit.

My f**k. Utah got more for Walker 9 point 9 rebound Walker Kessler than Boston got for Brown . Celtics are absolutely r****ded. Paul George has 3 years left and gets 50+ his third year. Nuts.

I figured it had to mainly do with the fact that the relationship was irreparable + some type of cost cutting move, if not now, at least in the future. Additionally there only so many trade scenarios that could make moving Jaylen's salary work. PG's was almost perfect. Now, according to ESPN, it was also analytics based, and they pointed out the Celtics were like 35-6 when Jaylen didn't play.

Signing Mitchell Robinson away from the Knicks was a nice move though. He and Queta (extended) are going to make life difficult in the paint for opposing teams.
