Your 2025 Oakland A's........Welcome to Sacramento!

This is our chance to show MLB just how successful a team would be here in Sacramento. This is a dream come true! Welcome to Sacramento!!!
Sounding like some s**t in Vegas is not going smooth either so who knows. Now we just need that soccer stadium built in the rail yards
I've been an Oakland fan since i was 8. The team is a $-hit sandwich but damn!!! MLB baseball in Sacramento. Im definitely getting season tix.

Would we still get an expansion team? Like why build it before a commitment like they had last time before the guy backed out?

If Vegas does fall apart, where would they build a baseball stadium? Rail yards or expansion of the River Cats stadium?

Pretty cool either way to have MLB baseball 20 minutes from me and 5 minutes from my work.

I would think putting a state of the art baseball stadium smack dab in the middle of the rail yards would look pretty damn good. Vivek being friends with the evil Fischer might turn out to be a good thing. I would think Vivek being so close to Joe Lacob can't hurt too much either.
Honestly, kind of torn about this. As a huge Kings fan I can't support owner's like the A's owner. He basically Maloof'd the A's fans. It's pretty s**tty.

With that being said, it'll be pretty cool to be able to check out an MLB game in Sacramento.

Condolences to all the Oakland A's fans out there.

They were talking of doing a scaled down version for the republic . Assume it could be expanded upon if we get an expansion team

Yeah it sucks based off what happened here, but we have a pretty good A's fan contingent here and this is just a huge sports town in general.

We will have baseball everyday almost because they have to have differing home games for the River Cats and As.
Would love to watch a MLB game without having to go to sh*tty as* SF or Oakland
They should have been coming here to Sacramento instead of Las Vegas anyways.

I'm afraid I don't know enough to make that kind of judgment. But, given that Oakland has managed to lose both the Raiders and the A's in a short period of time is an indication, to me at least, that something is really f'd up in the City of Oakland. That's two professional sports franchises, with long-time, loyal fan bases, that are now gone. They ain't coming back, either. From an outsider's perspective, it seems to me the problem lies squarely in front of Oakland City Hall.
Where are the Triple-A Giants going to play? Stockton? Yuba City?
