I know - it seemed so weak because they were obliterating the teams in front of them with suffocating D and a relentless rain of threes and that was despite missing Porzingis for the majority of last year's playoffs. The Magic took away their three point attack in round 1 but they adjusted and moved on but the Knicks didn't care how many they shot and they went 25 for 100 in two games, lmao. They make just 2-3 more threes they're up 2-0 on the Knicks. That's why they always say, live by the three, die by the three. I thought the Harden-led Rockets back in the day had it bad...

Not all rest is good rest . Knicks / Pistons physical series ended up hurting Celtics bc they can't simulate that in practice

Lmao oh please, they were lucky to avoid the other top 3 teams in their garbage conference due to injuries . And even the jv opponents they did end of facing during their run ended up losing their best players due to injury too, first round Heat lost Jimmy Butler(notorious Celtic killer) in the play-in, Donovan Mitchell got injured in the final 2 games vs Boston in a 5 game series, and then the Pacers loss Tyrese Haliburton in the finals 2 games vs Boston. Theyre the only team in nba history to win every close out game in their first 3 series where their opponents best player weren't on the floor. and after their cake walk they got to play the 5th seed Dallas Mavericks in the finals. the only 51 plus win team they played that entire run.

But sure man, they did dominated their mediocre and broken opponents, I'll give you that.

Wow these Celtics. Even if they maintain this 5 pt lead and win game they are playing like trash and keep trying to hit the three. Mikael Bridges is outplaying Brown and Tatum.

Who is your team may I ask? Nico pulled off a series of trades that transformed that Mav's team midway through last season. It is not the Celtic's fault the entire Western Conference choked it up big time by deferring to the mediocre Mavs. Celtics would have coasted against the East even if they were at full health - just like they did all of last season. Okay your point is made - entire league was a joke in 2024 and the Celtics just happened to rise to the top by luck.
Cavs up 17, with 7 mins and Hali only has 4 pts

lol...I think maybe cavs returning some players to help with defense on him had to do with some of it.....

on another note Aaron Gordon continues his Clutch Streak with another big game tying 3 to send the game into OT where Denver takes it.

heres the shot.

Celtics better win tonight or they'll be down 3-1 just like the Cavs. Wow, I guaranteed the Cavs or Celts out of the East - could not have been more wrong. Pacers did make it to the ECF last year and got swept but 3 of the 4 games were close - total pt differential in those three games was just 11 pts.
