Heard Luka say that they are losing bc of defense. No s**t. Take some responsibility and play some defense, youre the leader of the team. All the great players that were champioship winners were also studs on defense or at least played well enough, especially while in their prime.
Could you imagine how good him and Jokic would be if they actually got in shape and tried on defense? Will probably never happen but I agree. He's lazy as hell on defense and adding another lazy defender wasn't gonna make them a super team. Cuban is an idiot for approving that trade.
I know it was the all-star game and could apply to anyone in it but whenever I think of Luka the one thing that comes to mind is him smiling all giddy and playing "ole" against players who flew by him for dunks. This was I think last year's game. Kyrie is turning into the next Westbrook in a different sort of way.
Meanwhile the Nets have been playing folks tough and no Ben Simmons. They have a nice rotation with Seth Curry and Joe Harris off the bench. They took the Mavs and Suns best defefensive players in Dorian Finney-Smith and Mikal Bridges. No surprise to me if they give the 76ers a tough go if they meet in the 1st round.
