Striking while the iron is hot. Smart move. A move multiple other owners have made before them. The NBA's popularity is at a low point. I could be mistaken but it was my understanding that the Lakers are the biggest asset the Buss' owned and now they are going to be Billionaires.

that $67 M would be worth around $13 B right now .

doesnt include the cash the Lakers spent (Buss salaries and write offs, Laker experiences etc ) which is why most people would choose the Buss situation over the easier money .

Celtics just traded Holiday to the Blazers for Anfernee Simons. And now they're out of the second apron. Bet Porzingis to the Lakers is a possibility as well.

And when have you pulled off a trade where you traded limited assets for an All Star/top 15 player in the league?

Yes, I realize that you just ripped off the Mavs for Luka....but you still trade Anthony Davis to do so. And you dont have an asset that is even close to the level of Anthony Davis anymore. Unless you trade Bron.
