Gotcha!

Has to be a parody account but not the first or the last major media outlet to hate on Lakers offseason moves. Love it. Hope they don't change tune during or after this season.

Nance to Portland, Lauri to Cleveland, Derrick Jones Jr and a 1st (Portland) to Chicago.

Most likely gonna go to the Lakers. I hope the Warriors try to sign him but I think he will sign with the Lakers.

Is he over 30? If so, Laker for sure.

I'd be down with that. However, both Love and his agent have to know that he is not getting close to 30 million per year anywhere else. If that money is guaranteed why would he give that up? "Sure Cavs, I will take a buyout, but only for the full amount I am owed and no less." Would be my stance. Yeah money is not everything, but it SAF makes life easier in this world.

Well, Cavs can just tell him to stay home. Imo if he gives Cavs 10m dollar discount on the buyout…then it'll happen. Sure hes gotta take the stance that I am not doing the buyout unless you pay me 95% of that money but that's negotiations tactics.
Of course he won't get that 30m anywhere - but if Cavs are paying him 50m over two years and he signs with Warriors for TXMLE for 5.9M a year - he makes up that money. If he takes minimum deal with Lakers - he will still make 4.5m out of the 10m he gave the Cavs and probably land some decent endorsement deals in LA to make up the rest - while playing for winning teams in playoffs.
At some point - buyout will get done. Only matter of time.

The Los Angeles Lakers are the frontrunners to sign Rajon Rondo after he clears waivers on Monday, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Rondo was a key part of the Lakers' 2020 championship team. https://t.co/lT4jCtoCXw

Of course. Love has the all the leverage. He already won a chip - doesn't need to give up money to join a contender. He'll give them a few million discount which he can make back on min deal or $5.9M TPMLE (which Warriors can offer)

Yeah. This whole Tyrese Maxey thing is a joke and a clear conflict of interest. Its obvious Rich Paul doesnt look out for the benefit of all his clients.
