Apparently, we are talking to KC about SP Danny Duffy. Could be an interesting addition as well.

Danny Duffy would be a perfect addition. Probably shift him to the bullpen ala Tim Lincecum for post season. Versatile arm.

Unless Kapler disrespected you to your face no one should hate the guy, he's done a great job and the players respect him. I liked the way how after Rogers blew that save he talked about how he couldn't wait to go back to him. Players have to love that

I was on the don't hire Kap boat. And although there are things he does that make me scratch my head, he clearly is doing a great job. I don't think anybody can be against it now.

I was always on the "trust Farhan" side when it came to Kapler. He was a great hire and managing isnt all about the game strategy. Its also about getting players to play hard for you. I think that is his greatest attribute.

I mean it's hard to really blame anyone for thinking the Giants were gonna be a 70-win-at-best team this year. Nobody who roots for this team could have legitimately thought they were going to have the best record in the MLB by July 22nd, and be leading the league in homers.

I mean, go easy. Mayo just saying what a lot of us are thinking with the anticipation of any upcoming trade deadlines, drafts, training camps, etc. Doesn't bother me and lightens the mood in here when sometimes it's needed.

By the way, It's 49ers first, SF Giants second, right (your handle)? My two favorite NFL & MLB teams, although the Niners have always been far and away my favorite sports team.

The Giants taking two from the Dodgers this series has been great...want to be greedy, though, and want it to be 3 of 4 tonight.
