Slow the roll a bit. He's hitting really well now but you can't say he's definitely a .300 hitter. Only 5 right now in all of MLB. Hitters have hot and cold streaks and right now he's hot. A week ago it was Devers. Before that it was Adames. To bat .300 for an entire season now is really hard.
3 weeks ago we saw people calling for Eldridge because he was on a hot streak. Now he has one HR in the month of September. The only thing certain about hot streaks is they always end and many go from hot to cold. Whether it's an individual or an entire team.
