Hype last night

a lil low expected today
Pegan's was prettier. Bailey's was bigger/more important both for the individual player and the team as a whole.

Is he ever going to get win? I think this is the longest he's ever gone without a win. At least the Dodgers lost again. Let's hope they don't snap out of that slump against the Giants. I hate facing teams that are in a long slump because the always end eventually. Sometimes in dramatic fashion.

lol Verlander

Pitching okay - gets ZERO runs and the pen just caves

Plus the crappy defense/3 errors.

The Phillies are tough and taking the series against them is the positive I'm keeping in mind. Now, if the Giants can take a game or two against the Dodgers, that would be great going into the break.

Devers, Lee...really need these guys to break out sooner than later. Devers I'm thinking (hoping) any time now.
Mike Yazstremski with a bloated 27 ERA... this guy is not an MLB pitcher. I think he needs a refresh at AAA to figure it out.

My favorite was Schmitt ruining the easy double play with a bad throw when you're just trying to get out of the inning and go home
I think the Phillies were a tad upset about losing the game last night to an IPHR to a catcher.

How do you come up with this stuff?

Panda is still the franchise's best pitcher ever with that 0.00 ERA.

Panda was an extremely underated athlete because he was always overweight. He was relatively fast even at that weight. Strong arm. I heard he once stoodat hjome plate and threw a ball over the fence. Good hitter with some power. We'll never know how good he could have beem if he was in great shape.

plus he came up as a catcher, moved to third, and can throw with both arms. And he did it while fat. Dude is a unicorn.

O.k., going to take a wild guess: "I don't know to be perfectly honest." (May be obvious to some of you but took me a minute, BPH.)

Dodgers in town starting tomorrow. Pitching matchups:

May vs. Webb
Ohtani vs. Roupp
Yamamoto vs. Ray

Hoping the Giants play some good ball to finish strong going into the break.
