Lol. You still didn't address the Joe Burrow thing.

Tbh, most of your novels that you post in here are like that. I'm not trying to be a professor, it's just that what you said wasn't true, and your explanation of it didn't make sense to me.

Well, I couldn't care one iota if you buy what I post or not. And if it doesn't make sense to you, don't respond imbecil.

No need for name calling, sir.

Why don't you learn how to type a little better? And stop posting the same long ass posts over and over every single day .

Joe Burrow lol

Firstly, I will post as long and as many posts as I like. You are welcome not to read them.
Secondly let's just say I have several sources allowing myself limited knowledge of the Giants operation. One is the ex-pitcher, the closer on one of the championship teams. The second, very small part shareholder.
Thirdly, over 15 years you forget some of the many, many names that were recycled by the Giants. I could have set there, scout all the names and repeated them like a parrot. Again, for slow minded, I was bringing an idea of current year team composition is similar to 2010-2014 teams, that is not likely to work as it did back then. Nothing more. I think I will end at that
I'm done quoting because it's getting too long. But calling me small minded when I pointed out mistakes in your post is funny.

You may have been comparing the current team to the 2010-2014 teams and that's great. But you also said the Giants were practically handed the division title in those seasons and SD and AZ were nowhere to be seen. The Giants only won the division in 2010 on the very last day of the season and were in a close race with SD that season. Clearly, SD was relevant that year. And AZ won the division the next season. Clearly they were relevant. The Giants won it in 2012 fairly easily, and then never again until 2021 I believe. So they really weren't handed the division in 2010-2014 as you claimed they were.

Congrats on your sources though, that's pretty cool.

And Joe Burrow though.

Nice that they made some moves but none of them appear to be earth shaking. All the guys they're bringing up are 29-30 years old. Not up and coming prospects. Hopefully they can add a little offense but I'm not expecting much. The big thing is moving on from Wade. If they can get .220 and 5 HRs out of that spot it's an upgrade. I hear they're probably going to go with Schmitt and Flores at that spot. I think Smith (the guy they just signed) can also play there. We'll see.

Dominic Smith...Daniel Johnson...Andrew Knizner..."Who are these f'ing guys?!"
I hope our pitchers continue to stay hot, so we can flip some of them for some prospects

we aren't going to compete any time soon, rather plan to suck and build a farm system than just plain ole suck and hope for best.

Of course, they were not literally handed the division before the season starts. Maybe I should have been more specific. They were anointed as clear division favorites after 2010 title for the next 5 years.
Have you seen them anointed division winners the last 5 years.
I am not the Giants insider, but I hear some "whispers" and interpret them as I understand. Some are real and, I don't deny, some of my interpretations could well be off base. I don't expect any one to gobble it straight up, nor am I looking for written confirmations. You are welcome to quietly and fully dismissed what I write. The key word is "quietly", meaning dismiss it all you want to yourself. You start pointing finger at me or mock me, I'll call you names. Understood?
I cant decide which is worse.... the quality of the posts in this thread or the state of baseball now. Both have driven me away from a sport and a thread that I once loved

Farhan killed the Giants and John's love of the game

They are doing the only inevitable they can do at this point if they want to stay positive and at the same time present the image of the shakeup for the angry fan base. In reality, they are recycling guys, throw them against the wall and see if anyone sticks (very low probability but).
Of course, at this point the real course of action to possibly improve your weakness is trading part of your overabundance of strength for that. That is easier said than done on the fly. You have to identify the willing seller who has what you want and want what you are offering. Two is for the org like the Giants, there is contractual ramification of the possible target. Three is what you'll do with the player who is on the contract and have to be paid not to play. The guy you are obtaining has to be so much better than the current player, not only for this year but long term (trading one of your quality starters for the guy who'll be FA at the end of the year is not prudent. Remember Wheeler for Beltran trade). That's just from the top of my head, of course there are few more things to think about.
Wade could never just get back to his 2021 form.

Baseball is hard.
they had the guy from the River Cats on KNBR he was talking up Johnson as a decent fielder, could even put at CF if necessary and some pop in that bat, from Vallejo.
