The downside of having Chapman and now Adams …. Good players, not super stars who are prone to deep cold and scolding hot streaks.

they getting nothing from Wade, Pat Bailey and the bench. Not to mention their main studs aren't hitting…

Same f**king team, gee Pete Alonso would have been a great addition when we just had our hands in our pockets, run out the same hitters as last year and expect a different result unless buster stradegy is to tank one more year

I would imagine the ownership is not allowing Buster to spend freely.

Everyone would love to see them get a 1st baseman that can hit but who's going to trade a good one unless it's for some good young talent. There has to be a willing team to make these trades and the Giants don't have an abundance of young talent to trade unless it's pitching.

This scoring drought was last seen in 1976. So long ago that most of us can't really remember it. Meanwhile the 11-50 Rockies score 6 runs against the Marlins last night. The same Marlins team that held the Giants to 6 runs total in 3 games.
I was wondering if this is the worst offense I've ever seen from the Giants since I started following them back around 2001. It definitely seems like it is, at least the last month or so
WELP, that was something

I think what makes this even more frustrating is how they started the season. They were driving in runners in clutch situations. They weren't striking out as much. Defense was outstanding. Now they look like the same old team.

The Dodgers looked invicible when the season started but their pitching staff has been hit really hard. The door is open if the Giants can just start hitting. I know BAs are way down on this era (only 15 players over .300) but you can't have multiple guys in your starting lineup every day that are hitting under .200.

on the plus side we are giving off some 2010 vibes with the ability to score runs
what irritated me is if you look at the bases loaded situation, fitz swings on a ball about a foot inside for out #1 at home, then ramos swings on the exact same pitch for the DP. bases loaded situation, just stay back and let em pitch his way into trouble, get your pitch to hit. i hope they show that one to the boys ask what the heck are we doing

They were scoring runs early on but not now. They find some weird ways to score without really hitting well but they can't get enough of those to win consistently. Nothing crazier than that walk off little league HR by Ramos. Never seen that before and not likely to see it again.

Yeh but getting Pete Alonso in addition to Adames would have totally defied the payroll reduction. The budget line that is infinitely more important than placing total complete team on the field. Always had been and always will with this ownership collection group. They've gotten away with placing half the team and the other half patched up, they hope they can get away with it again. What they don't realize or more precisely don't care is the landscape of baseball and specifically the NL and NL West had totally changed from 15 years ago.

the most frustrating part is we have an ELITE pitching staff and we letting it go to waste cause we can't put up points , this offense is pathetic

Pretty much
What is it with the Bay Area teams. Niners can't ghet TDs when they reach the red zone. Warriors go into long droughts where they can't hit 3s. The Giants can't get a run across even when they have the bases loaded or two on with nobody out.
