He's obviously struggling but they don't have a lot of options there. Schmitt is a good fielder but his hitting isn't any better. His OBP is much lower. Wade has been a much better hitter than he's showing so far this year. That's why they had him batting leadoff. His career OBP is .346. It's still early and he can turn thngs around. Many players get off to poor starts.
