2025 San Francisco Giants Season Thread

Gosh what a frustrating game that was to watch. Need the offense to wake up even with Gausman pitching.

Yaz is day to day.

Wade Jr is this year's Yaz.

He should have hit Dubon, but Casali had gotten a few hits lately so he probably tried the "hot hand". But your point is valid...not the smart move.

I won't disagree with you on the OF bat, but I will add, never underestimate team chemistry. This team seems to really get along and that usually leads to wins. See the championship giants teams. It usually starts with 1-2 guys that bring the group together. So credit for Farhan for finding team guys.

From my seat behind the dugout, I would rather them get bullpen help and really someone to close out games. Then an OF bat. And hopefully Longoria back 100%. With bullpen help, I think this team would compete fine.

I'd roll with
OF Duggar, Wade and Yaz
INF Longoria, Craw, Belt and Solano
C Posey

Def subs would be Dubon for Solano in the late games. Dickerson would be my main spot OFer and PHer. And he'd get sub'd for D late innings when he plays. Ruf would spot play for Belt on rest days. Dubon for Longoria on rest days. Would try and take him out late games that are close also. Dickerson and Ruf can hit but their D is s**t.

I'll 9moon my way over here with absurdities and say I still think we should check out Khris davis lol not much to lose. It's like the rangers kicking the tires on pence. Low risk

Way too late for Davis. Not interested at all.

I agree with john on the Casali move... But it's true he is hitting a hot bat and been clutch but as soon as it got to two strikes I knew it was a K.

Slater been awful lately, I'm not sure he would have faired much better. Dubon probably the ideal choice.

Still, the offense needs to do more. They had two runs on 11 hits.

I dont know but if he doesnt I think he will get DFA when Longoria and Lastella return. For sure either Tauchman or Slater will go. Dont see other alternatives

You guys see Panik just got traded to Miami? 4th team in 3 years.

LaStella fractured his finger and will be out at least another couple of weeks. I think we are at least a couple weeks out for Longo

it could go either I guess, but Tauchman has won 3 games by himself.
