I wish I could at least get the radio broadcast but here in Eugene the signal doesn't reach. I could get them through a subscription service but there aren't enough that aren't televised so I'll just pass on tonight's game. No big deal. It's not like missing a football game.

The inconsistency is the first and most important sign of mediocrity. And I haven't seen inconsistency like the Giants up and down the lineup and pitching like ever. I rest my case who they are.

Man he was so sick

He was like a meteor. Burned really bright for a short time and flamed out suddenly. He was near the top in the league for his first 4 full seasons. Back to back Cy Young awards and leading the league in SOs 3 straight seasons. Then he suddenly started losing velocity and he struggled for his final 4 seasons with the Giants. He became a reliever in the final 2 years.

I don't know if I've ever seen a pitcher burst on the scene like he did with such nasty stuff and then flame out just as suddenly without having a major arm or shoulder injury.

Yeah that funky throwing delivery he put on his core took it's toll once he hit the major league. And he wasn't a big body pitcher when compared to Cain so it was only a matter of time.

That was a low pitch that he had to go down get. It's the kind of pitche you see the big guys like Judge and Stanton hit out.
