I know I've beaten this to death but I still can't understand why they can't draft and develop legitimate OF playersthat can play decent defense and hit with power. We're talking about 47 years since the last one. 47 years! That's nearly impossible. During that span we've seen other teams sign some great outfielders so I know they exist. You would think that the law of averages would dictate that they would have had at least one or two great ones in that span.
To be fair, they've done a good job developing infielders, pitchers and catchers during that period. Just not outfielders. That seems crazy for a franchise that's had some great outfielders in their history.
