and watching his brand of baseball reinforced that. Absolute s**t manager. I'm so glad I don't have to watch him make lineups anymore.

bye!

Hated the platoon pitching and part time players, like wtf f**k analytics

I think that if Comforto and Hanigar had done anything close to what was expected of them, we'd easily be in the playoffs. Maybe I'm glad we're not....not a fan of the overly analytical style....Farhan def on the hotseat now. Also, didn't expect Craw to hit the wall so completely.

The reason why we signed them late as consolation to Judge and Correa is because they're always hurt. That trend continued.

We signed other part time injured flash players. Desalfani, Stripling

Analytics are an important part of every franchise. But you can't be so over the top with it like we were.
Buying Giants tickets was like ordering a top of the line sports car.

Then when it's delivered and you give it an inspection and drive you realize it's put together with mismatched inferior parts, it has a gutless engine with no power, and the range is horrible. You can't return it, can't get insurance on it.

i hope we get more starting pitching, beyond warning track power, better set up guys not the wonder twins who get raked on. Hell keep Bailey, Wilmer, Logan, Scmidt, Estrada, Matos, Yaz, Doval and jettison the rest with Kapler.

As long as Wilmer is your best player and Yaz is starting this team is going nowhere, Farhan has done such a horrific job in 4 years here. Idc about that fluke ass 107 win season, anyone with the right mind knew that was fluke anyways

Too bad for Kapler, I thought he really loved being the Giants skipper. Not, his fault the team fell apart in the second half. Oh well, wasn't meant to be, on to the next skip.

It was his fault that the clubhouse fell apart. Thats ultimately why he got fired. Your guys can't be blaring party music after losses and looking forward to card games more than baseball games.

Also heard he didn't hold anyone accountable, when the team isn't hitting he still didn't have mandatory BP. You would think with the team hitting so poorly he would have them out there hitting and figuring stuff out.

Really, I never knew that. Maybe, he had to go. Bad club culture, that's on him if he allowed it.

That's seperate from team culture. They had the talent, they showed that early in the season. They just ran into injuries, lack of more than two quality starter and just ran out of gas. Pitching wise and hitting wise. Total team collapse on the field and no accountability from the manager, both on and off the field. I heard Kapler was hands off, letting people do what they wanted. He didn't try to set rules and tell people who got out of line, no, this is not the Giants way. But, how would he know the Giant way, that was up to Crawford and the others, who grew in the Giants system and know the Giants way. But, only Crawford is left on the team that's been a Giant, when they won all those World Series. It's f**ked up, but Kapler paid with his job, and he probably deserved it, because he didn't set rules and all the other stuff I mentioned.

Kapler not knowing they were eliminated got him fired , dude is out of it. That prank on the mound a bad look too
Be interesting to see who they interview as opposed to the short-lists that are being composed. Hated the style or the smugness it was represented with by Kapler, idk which. Didn't mind the 107 wins though, did mind the early exit. PEACE KAPLER!!

Which player was the biggest disappointment this year? To me, it had to be Schmitt.

The thing about Schmitt for me is, he's never been a great hitter....OK, but even at San Diego State, he was only OK as far as college hitters go. His OPS in college was only .774. Guys like that rarely become dominant in the major leagues. I hope he can turn into a .250 hitter at some point with above average defense.

You hit the nail on the head. I love Wilmer and Yaz but they can't be the best players in your lineup. They're complimentary pieces.
Went to the game last night, so many doyer fans

felt so bad for the OG diehards with candlestick pins in their hat
