In 2014, we hit 8 homeruns less than the league average.

They didn't hit many HRs that doesn't mean the ones they hit weren't important

lol but you said "carried by". That implies that we relied on the HR ball to win in the postseason, which isn't true.

Why'd you leave off 2016?

Because it wasn't a championship run. We only hit 1 HR in 5 games that postseason, so that wouldn't help your theory.

Oh okay

In 2016, we hit 57 homeruns less than the league average, and finished 28th in the league in total homeruns.

I am at the point where I don't want to sign anyone anymore. Just blow it up and focus on 2027.
Bogaerts to SD for 11/280.

Hopefully this means the Giants are close with Correa. It's unlike SD to go after the 2nd best option left.
Knew it, were in a world where SD out spends us.

So they got Tatis for 340M, Machado at 300M, Bogaerts for 280M, and they're gonna offer Soto 500M next year?

Damn.

Padres making moves and giants ain't doing s**t
Well the dodgers are out on Correa because of the 2017 WS (supposedly) which would be funny if he was a giant because the fans there would hate him and have to see him so much. The Padres are out obviously. Having said that, I assume Boston will now jump in the race for him along with MN and SF. At this point, I am in I will believe it when I see it mode.

And they've won like 1 playoff series.
I predict the Giants give Correa 12/350. They're in desperation mode and Boras knows it. Turner got 11 years and is one year older. At this point just give us something to care about in 2023. Literally nobody will care about Haniger or Nimmo if Correa or Judge isn't there.

And you are ok with this? You were one of the ones who was very outspoken against a Judge signing. I have to imagine you are against this one too right?
