If we can't land a big hitter this offseason the Giants should dust off the old cardboard seat fillers from 2020, because thats the only way they'll fill seats this year.

lol apparently the Padres tried to offer 10/400 last second and got turned down. It wasn't a formal offer, but probably something they blurted out to get him to negotiate with them too.

The Padres stadium gets taken over when the Giants are in town, but somehow they spend like the George Steinbrenner Yankees.

I don't buy for one second your theory that the Giants outbid the Yankees. I think those reports were always about the Padres, in spite of no formal offer being given.

How so? The Giants have a buttload of money, nothing on the books, are their fans are leaving because there's nobody to buy tickets to see. Why wouldn't we be outbidding NY? We needed it even more than them.

LOL. Giants fans are leaving. Sure. Even though I provided statistical evidence to you that fan support remains high.

You are the Donald Trump of Giants fans.

if you watched the games last year you would see how wrong you are right now. Paid for season tix with empty seats, or paid for season tix sold to other teams fans isnt remaining high. The stadium looked like a ghost town last year unless a team like the dodgers were in town and then it was dodgers fans.

What's that supposed to mean?

Check the stats. Paid attendance. Unless MLB is lying, and why would they, fan support remained surprisingly high.

It was off some from the WS years, but not as much as you think.

However, if you are convinced that MLB is lying about attendance and that Presidential elections are stolen, there's not much I can say.

Paid attendance is not the same as actual attendance. The fans that paid who stopped showing up aren't going to renew their seats for 2023.
LOL @ paid attendance

It's obvious now that Judge was always staying with NY, and his flirting with the Giants was just an acting job to make the Yankees pay out the most money possible. The Yankees weren't going to replace Cashman if Judge picked SF. That makes no sense.

That's not what I said

lmao that was lame. When did I say I was smarter? You were the one quoting people repeatedly with the HE DONT WANT TO BE A YANKEE! I said I thought he would be a yankee but was optimistic. wow, such arrogance.

And yeah, I said I didn't like the Kapler hire. And then I came in the thread multiple times after and defended him because he has done a good job and I was wrong about that. WOW THE ARROGANCE OF ME.

Like always, you make like no sense.

You were optimistic on Judge to SF, you got played (like we all did).
sorry but no. Not everyone was optimistic on Judge to the Giants at all. I honestly never thought it would happen and wrote that he would stay a Yankee on numerous occasions. Staying just made way too much sense.

If Artie Moreno wants to sell, I think he's gotta lock down Ohtani. But that's a two way street.
