Watching games from the 90s is comical compared to how people explain it as.

Babe Ruth is booty compared to players nowadays but it doesn't take away for him being generational talent in his generation. Athletes evolve and nowadays you have 7 footers with handles and 3's. I think lebron is the best ever but I'm also aware that Wemby can overtake that when his career is over, if he stays healthy. People have too much of a hard time admitting newer things are better lol

Joe Montana is the goat qb. And then the Brady/Manning/Brees type QBs showed up. And then Mahomes, etc etc.

Besides Wemby and I guess, Chet, what other 7 footers with 3's and handles are taking the NBA (or current prospects that may in the future) by storm? I don't think you can place Porzingis in with these two considering his handle skills are limited. All three are probably going to have to deal with a number of injuries/medical issues throughout their careers, never realizing their full potential. That's the drawback of being so tall - it comes with a number of health limitations. And it's something human evolution is not going to solve any time soon.

Durant and Jokic are 6'11 according to google, but those are guys that I also throw in that category. Sabonis is 6'10. Karl Anthony Towns is 7 feet and drains 3s.
And yea I think Wemby will have to get insanely built to not get injured. It's just that Lebron is 6'9'' and entering his 23rd year while being dominant the 22 seasons he's played. It's insane.

Iirc during the 92' Olympics in Barcelona, Barkley said MJ barely slept during his time there. All he did was gamble and golf until it came time to practice and play.
