As much as I would love to keep Oubre because of his toughness and his 2 way skills, if they can get a 1st for him I think they have to move him at the deadline. I dont know if they will get that given that he is a free agent after this season but for the long term success of the team it makes sense. No way they can afford him next season unless Lacob just doesnt give a damn about money any longer. LOL

Some rumors I've seen online were
Kelly Oubre and Eric Paschall for Aaron Gordon and a 2nd round pick
or
Kelly Oubre for JJ Redick and a 1st round pick
I'm with you on Oubre. I'm a big fan of his. Love his tenacity on both ends of the court and I feel like he can only get better, but consistency is certainly an issue not to mention the uncertainty with free agency.

Salary and health are worrisome, but his fit with the team is intriguing. Ability to play the 3 or 4 and can defend multiple positions due to his strength, athleticism, and agility. His offensive potential flashes, but he's still inconsistent, but like Wiggins, would he strive not having to be the #1 or #2 options? Maybe.

Id give a slight damn about Redick. I dont love him as a player but he definitely has value. If we traded for him, we could easily spin him elsewhere and get another pick. Or keep him as a bomber off the bench. Either way, I love that trade.

The guy is making almost 14M per year for 18 minutes per game. I think at the end of the day he gets bought out and a team pays the league minimum for him. His only value in this trade would be to trade contracts for Oubre and get that 1st round pick.

Lakers are taking calls on Montrezl Harrell, would you swap Oubre for him ? Or think it'll take more then Oubre ?

I think it'll probably take more, and although I like Harrell's motor and tenacity on the floor, he gets lost on defense fairly often and his range is definitely limited. The team would have to rely heavily on Steph/Wiggs/Poole to fill up the points sheet.

Yeah I'm mostly thinking of next year, I think he'll be a great fit when Klay is back, and the 2nd unit, I believe he's on a 2 yr deal.

I would be very surprised if the Lakers traded Harrell for Oubre especially with AD and Lebron out. And yes it would take more.

Steve Kerr told @loganmmurdock he enjoyed last season (when the Warriors went 15-50) more than Kevin Durant's final season with the Warriors.

"That last year was tough. There was a lot going on -- some that you know about and some that you don't. That was very difficult."
This is hilarious
