And a much better player offensively, teams don't even defend looney which allows teams to suffocate Steph

Advanced metrics don't support this idea in the slightest bit.

After this stretch they will be sellers, get a 1st for Oubre, try to get whatever for Wiggins, just get rid of the contract lol
You arent going to get a 1st for Oubre who is a FA after the season. Also, moving Wiggins at this point is going to be very difficult. I seriously doubt that happens.

People need to be realistic here. The Dubs would have been very lucky to have won 2 games in this 6 game stretch. Just a brutal series of games. After this the schedule gets much easier and the Dubs have a shot at being a bottom end playoff team. They were never going to be more than that.

I am being realistic, if they can get a 1st for Oubre and some how get rid of Wiggins they should do it, I'm thinking the future. This year I'd love for them to make the playoffs and maybe play the lakers in the 1st rd but it's cool if not, if they could go into the off-season with 3 1st td picks assuming, well hoping they get the wolves pick and no Wiggins contract then it would be perfect. They should try to cut ties ASAP.

The thing is it's not realistic to get rid of Wiggins without digging into your futures pockets by trading away a pick or 2. That contract is beyond difficult to get rid of

True, I wish a team like Chicago would trade Otto Porter for Wiggins, Porter is a free agent and gets paid a lot so it would be off the books after this season. If I was golden state I'd do it.

I dont think you are being realistic if you think the Warriors are going to get a 1st for Oubre (given that he is a FA after this year) or easily move Wiggins without giving up major assets.

A move like this is not going to help Warriors get cap room this summer. The whole point why they did the sign & trade for DLo (Durant to Nets) was because they knew that wouldn't have cap room for foreseeable future - so it's better to work as an above the cap team.

Next season major salaries
Curry 46M (last year of his contract - expect him to sign another massive contract this summer or next)
Klay 40M
Green 24M
That's 110M. Cap will be around 110M next season.

Wiseman 9M
Looney 5M
Pascal 2M
Poole 2M

Add money for 1st round pick (not even talking about potential 4th or 5th pick - just the 13-16 pick) and then filling out rest of the roster with minimum contracts - that will get you close enough to hard-cap where you can't use Full MLE (around 10M) either.

So, Warriors are better off keeping Wiggins & Oubre - if they are ok with paying luxury tax OR trading them for players who will be part of the team over the next couple years. Doing a trade of Wiggins for Porter - will actually mean Warriors are trading Wiggins for absolutely nothing.

I'm not saying easily move Wiggins, but I do think a contender would give up a 1st for Oubre. I know you like Wiggins but I don't lol the only good thing out of the DLO trade was the pick, his offensive ceiling is as high as it got, but I do love he stepped it up defensively.

Advanced metrics don't support this idea in the slightest bit.

LOLOLOL. Wiseman's per 36 #'s last night were 42 points and 21 rebounds.

I wouldnt have a problem moving Wiggins if it made the team better but I just cant see it happening. But check 4MLs post on this page. Very informative.

You arent seriously going to use stats in garbage time to prove your point. I love Wiseman's upside but he hasnt been good lately at all. Hopefully last night gets him going.
I hope we didn't draft a guy who is dispassionate about the game.

You think Wiseman strikes you as a guy who isn't passionate about the game? My thing with him is he's pretty much coming out of HS so it's going to take time especially at the center position.
