Eric Paschall is doing well too. He deserves an honorable mention for MVP IMO. Also, Damion Lee has been good too. 6-4 isn't bad at all for this team.

I hope he's working on it. He's attempted the skyhook a couple times and it doesn't look as natural lol

I like Wiseman a lot and I think he is going to be very good. But I just hope it doesnt take him a long time to reach his potential. We see other players who were drafted behind him who RIGHT NOW look like they would help this team much more than Wiseman has. Hopefully he learns as much from Dray and the coaches as possible because as amazing as his highs look right now, he looks lost a lot too.

Just curious which players you speak of. So far LaMelo and Haliburton look like studs. Edwards has shown flashes but, like Wiseman, is still trying to figure things out. I haven't really kept with others in this rookie class.

Lamelo Ball showing why he was a top rated prospect. I'll be the first to admit I wasn't a fan of his, but that triple-double performance was awesome.
Someone a lot of Dubs fans DIDN'T want was Deni Avdija. I was one of the fans that wanted him and he's shown a very mature, consistent game. He rarely has turned the ball over this season, and he's starting. He also had a coming-out party this past weekend and showed he can score the ball well.
Wiseman has shown some rare athletic ability when on the floor, but he's definitely going to need time to develop, especially on the defensive end. I mentioned it before that his switching ability and being block happy might get him in trouble early, which is why Precious Achiuwa was considered a better defensive presence. Wiseman will get there with Draymond, Looney, and Ron Adams coaching him.

what do you consider a "long time"?
Offensively, I think he is picking up a few moves a traditional center should have in his arsenal that will allow him to up his average to 15-17 pts by the end of the year (along with an increase in minutes). Thats pretty darn good.
Defensively? lol. I think Kerr wont trust him deep into the end of the game until next season. Which is fine.

Well yeah those are the 2 guys I am thinking about. Edwards isn't a player I focused on because he wasn't available to us.Originally posted by DickWedgie:Originally posted by SteveWallacesHelmet:I like Wiseman a lot and I think he is going to be very good. Cmon people everyone knows centers especially in today's game have a harder learning curve than a SG or PG who has the ball in his hands all the time. Perfectly fine with Wiseman and if he hits his potential he'll be better than anyone in his class. Next draft we can get on perimeter players

Not a chance I would trade Wiseman for any other player in the draft. Obviously it was going to take a 19 year old center who played just 3 games in college longer than the others to get up to speed. But his long term upside is higher than any player in this draft in my opinion

I've been really impressed with Deni Avdija. It wasn't going to be easy playing with Westbrook, but Avdija looks legit. Good defender and excellent IQ on the offensive end.

But as good as both players are I would still not deal Wiseman for either. I know his growing pains, especially on the defensive end, ae going to be tough to watch this year. But he is going to be pretty special when he gets some real experience under his belt
