if Lacob swings and misses again, starting to fit the Jerry Jones pattern
Hardly the same. Jones is the GM and makes every call. Lacob has at least hired guys like West, Meyers, and Dunleavy for basketball decisions.

People want the Dubs to make huge trades for star players or sign big name free agents. That was possible when the Dubs were a powerhouse and players wanted to join them. With their age, injuries, and lack of star power who really wants to come now? And what other teams really want the Dubs players outside of Curry and maybe Pod. That and salary makes trades very difficult.

At this point it doesn't matter much anyway. With the Spurs and Thunder no team is getting out of the West for the next several years. Its just good that the Dubs have won 4 times during Currys time.

The roster decisions post Jerry west have been very questionable. Multiple sources have said that our top lottery picks were influenced by Lacob rather than the coaching staff/ scouts.

We're reluctant to include 1st round picks in trades, even for younger players, but we haven't shown the ability to draft well. I don't think most of first rounders we held on to rather than trade, are even on our team (or on a team in the league).

I get wanting to hold onto picks now, but really screwed the critical window that actually would have extended our dynasty. Didn't want to cut our losses with Kuminga when it could have gotten us pascal siakam or OG, waited until it was too late.

I'll give Lacob all the credit in the world for helping right the ship and help the franchise get four titles, but he also deserves the lion share of the blame if it ends this way.

jerry jones prolly has more SB wins if jimmy Johnson stuck around

Will you be mad?
Sexton signed with the Lakers. Javonte Green signed with Detroit.

Any other suggestions? Lol

I'm late with that news but now I'm the one mad... Green could've been real useful
Goodbye Quinten Post, get your money

Signed a 3 year/30 mill offer sheet with grizz

Respect
also the irony of Post getting a contract before JK

Jerry Lacob better hope JK gets a higher deal than Post
Kudos on Post getting offer

Looks like Dubs might hold on to Bassey
Glad they didn't match the offer. Post is okay but he's just a backup on a good team. This is what drives me crazy about sports now. I'm used to superstars getting mega deals even though I think they're overpaid. I understand it though. Those top players are what drives TV ratings and brings people to the games. Nobody is paying to see Quinten Post. They call it market value. I say BS. It's market value because teams are dumb enough to keep shelling it out.

I think the contract shakes out to be like a one year deal guarantee. Im sure we could have re-signed him but want the flexibility in case someone becomes available
Bassey back

Would've been cool if he and Post were still the backups, I think they'll both be much improved. Dubs weren't going to overpay, I get that, and Memphis was able to throw stupid cash his way

On another note, I don't believe GS gonna go after LJ or Davis for the REAL stupid price tags that come with them. And I hope they don't try to bring back Klay, especially if Moody is the main one to go to make it work, F that!
Graham Ike > Dray Sign eem
Frank Vogel, newly hired, bout to help (mostly defense side) Dubs get another ring

I don't care to see LeBron in a Dubs jersey, but I was wondering if this signing moves the needle in that regards...

Maybe replaces Kerr when he hangs it up

Finally winning summer league since forever, that was cool and I'm stoked about him getting MVP

They got revenge on Memphis from getting slapped around a couple weeks ago by them. Great game!

Yax > Cryer > Richard > Ike > Dray > M Leons > L Jones
