Javier Francis is interesting but frustrating. The Warriors seem to be the landing spot for tweeners. He's the size of a 3 but doesn't have a consistent outside shot or defensive movement to cover a 3. He's raw but has good potential because of his great athleticism ... but see if this sounds familiar ... he's aggressive on offense and scores well in close range, but he makes mistakes on defense and isn't consistent with his decision making on offense and has been known to stall the offense.
Warriors haven't figured out Kuminga so they picked up TEMU Kuminga.

Kings would do that, just include Steph in the trade.

Just struck me how crazy salaries have gone in the NBA and how lucky the Warriors had it with Steph. Paolo Banchero was extended by the Magic for almost $300M ... for a .500 record team. Chet Holmgren is probably going to get a monster deal soon but at least he's been part of a winning team that is still on the way up.
I would like to have Jabari Smith on the Warriors ... but $130M is a LOT to pay for his game.
Generally I think the NBA has a better cap system than the NFL but I think the NBA should get rid of the max contract, and increase roster size to 20.

The thing that bothers me so much about this Kuminga situation is the fact that the player that would be perfect for this team is......a version of Jonathan Kuminga who was mature and knew his role.....a Kuminga who plays great defense, knocks down open 3s, and knows when to be aggressive and when to defer. If we can get a Kuminga who understands he is the third option who is three years away from being the face of this team, that is exactly what we need.
Instead, we have an immature Kuminga who thinks he should be the guy...which is not what this team needs.

Essentially peak Wiggins is what you are describing.

Damian Lilliard will get paid $22.5 million per year for the next 5 years. He could sign with the Warriors for $6.5 million and make $30 million and be playing in his home area.

There has definitely been some interesting chatter lately. Horford and Lillard and Lyles could be Warriors next year. Still need a quick defensive guard.

Apparently we are at the top of the list for Melton
And top two for Dame.

Marvin Bagley III is always injured, is so inconsistent and apparently a bit of a head case that he's been on 4 teams in 6 years ... but he's a UFA :)
Also, strong talk Melton may be on his way back.

Dame is interesting ... he's limited in some ways but he is offense.

He'd help provide spacing with JK for sure
