Boston did it.

He's completely fumbled Kuminga and if I am him, there is zero chance I will re-sign here. Not like they really have a choice, they are paying 3 35+ players $150m in 25-26.

Im not sure what the path forward is. If they had the guts, you trade dumbass draymond green who still hasn't figured out how to consistently be in control of his reactions. Draymond had a good season but he got owned this series. Jimmy is not really a #2 guy, I think that's also pretty clear. He can be an elite #3 option.

Jimmy is a good #2. The issue is he can't be a number one when Steph doesn't play. They need to start getting younger talent but it's not east when you have 3 guys making big money. Trading them sounds good on paper but how many teams are willing to take a 36 year old player making huge money. They don't have alot of trade bait to get a good big man.

We need a serviceable big man, Dallas has abundance. May be able to find some decent guys without breaking the bank. Teams will be looking to move off some players, offseason brings some wild times

Unless they want to be like Jazz. look at Utah stupid ass lmao

Agreed but what can the Warriors trade. Their best hope is signing a free agent.

Disagree about Dallas entirely. They want to play big. Gafford also says he wants to be paid like a starter, so in theory he could be moved, but it wont be us getting him.

I think we can trade our #1s now after curry leaves (2 years from now) enticing

sign and trade Kuminga

there is some flexibility, not the greatest but also not the worst

Warriors have to get through Denver, San Antonio, OKC, Minne

all bigger and more athletic than them.

They are longer light years ahead, the lead has no only caught but up surpassed them.

its going to be AND, just who is going to be better the wing or center.

We can't roll draymond at center again for the whole season.

They're in a tough spot. I'm sure they want to load manage Steph, Draymond and Jimmy through next season. But the West is so stacked it leaves them very little margin for error.
This is the corner you paint yourself into when you're not willing to be cutthroat like Bill Walsh...get rid of them a year too early than a year too late. Building around Steph's timeline is tough, with the giant salaries attached to the older guys. The fans would shi* to trade Steph, but Walsh would probably do it.

Back when the Warriors began their run of being good, playing small was effective. They had 2 really good 3 point shooters and several good surrounding players. They had Iguadola and Bogut who could set screens and defend at the rim. The league has changed in the last few years. Big men shooting 3s has become commonplace. The Ws have been trying without success to find a good big man. They can't expect an undersized Draymond to keep defending guys 6" taller than him. Not at his age. Looney is a good rebounder but not a great rim defender or scoring threat. He can't jump at all.
