I really wish Kerr would give Kuminga some first half minutes. I think he can help some on the boards against this team who was #1 in the league. He actually has played well against Houston. Also, would be nice to lessen the minutes that Dray, Steph, and Jimmy are playing just a bit.

But....GREAT WIN

Kuminga seems to be in Kerr's doghouse along with TJD. Neither one is playing. I hear it's not because they can't make some plays. It's because they make too many mistakes.

I dont think TJD is in the doghouse at all. It's about cutting down the number of players in the rotation down the stretch. He has 3 centers ahead of him including Draymond.

JK is another story though. He is most definitely in Kerr's doghouse

Doghouse was probably the wrong term. At this oint neither one fits in the rotation. It's been loke playoff basketball for the last couple weeks with no room fore error. Kerr likes to experiment with different lineups but in crunch time he likes to go with what works.
was it good defense or were the rox just not shooting well? i don't think they will put up another 80 spot next game

Both
Just rewatched the game. Looney should not see another minute in this series. He is way too slow and unathletic. Absolute worst matchup in the NBA for him. Kuminga or TJD all day over him.

Kuminga is too small to matchup against any big man. Looney is usually in there for rebounding and setting picks. Kuminga isn't good at either of those. He's more athletic and a better but not great shooter but he still makes a lot of mistakes.

It's too bad they haven't been able to find a good center that can play inside and match up with other big men. That's this team's achilles heal. If they can't hit 3s they have a hard tme.
