UPDATE: While on Stephen A's world, Draymond is asked if not for the punch would the Warriors still be playing. He says yes, reiterates he didn't have his voice to start the year, also says it was hard to help Poole during his struggles (excuse baby sounds 😂) pic.twitter.com/AwQWHpKYwB

We have to hope he continues to work on his game and gets better.
wont matter when he gets traded. theyre not gonna keep poole over draymond. thats a really stupid move

Warriors vice president of basketball operations Mike Dunleavy, Jr., represented the franchise at the NBA General Manager meetings yesterday, sources said. Warriors GM Bob Myers did not attend.

Just one of the names in the long list of terrible draft picks by this franchise.

Sure. But we had a stretch of like 20 years where we made horrible pick after horrible pick. Even the good picks werent the best possible pick haha.

Klay Thompson
Draymond Green
Kevon Looney
4 titles in 8 years.
So while the Dubs have made some bad picks the ones above totally make up for them. Even Jordan Poole was a very solid pick at 28. I just choose to look at a dynasty rather than dwell on some poor selections. And, not going to go back to the 80s to think about their picks. Curry and the boys erased all pain from those years.

So at this point, it seems Klay and Dray will be back. That would leave Poole as the most likely candidate to be moved, if anyone is. What is his value? I doubt this post season has hurt his value too much - enough context to justify a drop off from last year's performance.
I'm hoping for:
Trade Poole to BKN for Royce O'Neal and Cam Johnson (sign and trade)
Sign Naz Reid in free agency
A dream, but not too unrealistic I don't think. I have no idea who the primary ball handler will be off the bench, but if the young guys show continued development, this wouldn't be a terrible rotation:
Curry
Klay
Wiggins
Dray
Reid
GP2
Moody
Kuminga
Johnson
Looney
Royce
PBJ

Well yeah. I'm obviously not talking about recent times. But for like 2 decades straight we were blowing pick after pick. Myers has done a great job.
And I am not "dwelling" on the past. Just commenting.

We don't have to draft studs but least be serviceable as rotation guys. We missed badly on too many picks. Wiseman was the worst one.m considering the draft position:bust ratio.

Did Myers draft Klay and Curry? I think he only drafted Draymond but I'm not even sure he was the GM at that time as I think he was the assistant GM.
