That f**king sucks. Dude just has to feel horrible. Was the best player on the court for his team had them up and he blows out his knee and the team loses the title in his absence. Poor guy.

If Kawhi stays in Toronto then that just means Harden will be getting dad-dicked by him and the Raptors.
A surreal run by the Raptors. If not unprecedented, certainly a rarity. Perennially the also-ran team maxing out in the 2nd round, with one magical run to the Eastern Conference finals under its belt. Who would have ever expected them to luck into an elite player in Leonard and have him lead them to their first title. Wow.
This pleases me. I respect these Warriors for the great team they have been and don't think they are done, but I am tired of seeing them dominate all of the time. That said, I expect they will remain in the NBA title conversation for a while longer.
WTF did the Spurs do? Isolating their best player, their future, to bringing him to the point of forcing a trade from them. What must Pop be thinking? Not that I am interested in seeing the Spurs pile up more titles, but they threw away a chance at remaining a perennial contender just to return to perennial also-ran status.
This has been a great year for new blood in the NBA. Capped off, perfectly, by the Toronto Raptors winning the championship. Interesting to see how the young contenders in the East develop, including the Raptors. Will Kawhi stay? If he does it appears they and the Bucks are the East's top teams, while the Sixers remain lurking.
