Brodzinski was cut to make room for Marleau. Gee, who'd have thought it would be better to have a legend with tons of experience and success and was WILLING to play for the vet minimum, over a trash 4th liner? The season is still young, so things have yet to unfold. But, it does seem like DeBoer's going back to the comfort of playing his favorite veterans.

So.. on a side note, does anyone else find it hard to listen to Kendall Coyne? She seems to really be struggling in the color commentator role. No one will question her hockey knowledge, but she was fumbling over her words all night.

It's really frustrating because I love Hahn's play by play. I wish I could just avoid hearing her at the moment. Maybe she'll get better. Hopefully.
