Yeah Kemp was 4 inches taller than Zion. I think his game has more shades of Charles Barkley and Larry Johnson in it.

dude will be out of the NBA in 6 years

Care to share some insight on why you believe that?

Dude is already built like a grown man at 18. He's curently listed at 285 pounds and moves like he's 60 pounds lighter. He can shoot the 3, has a nice wingspan. Prospects like him don't just pop up every year.

Yeah he goes to Duke

Kyrie, quality player. Yeah he gets hurt a little too often.

Brandon Ingram. 20 years old entering his 3rd season. Budding superstar that you can't deny.

Loul Deng has been a solid NBA player.

The rest are meh. But they are in the NBA.

Interesting rule changes proposed

The NBA's board of governors are expected to pass rule changes for the 2018-19 season that include resetting the shot clock after an offensive rebound to 14 seconds from 24, simplifying the clear-path foul rule and expanding the definition of the "hostile act" to more easily trigger instant replay, league sources told ESPN.

Thanks for posting... I agree with reducing the shot clock after an offensive board, but ten seconds? Damn...

Scoring is gonna go through the roof of that passes.
Poor Harrison Barnes, humble nice guy just minding his own business and then gets ripped by another WNBA dumb***k who doesn't understand basic economics.

https://nba.nbcsports.com/2018/08/23/skylar-diggins-compares-her-salary-to-harrison-barnes-do-you-know-his-stats-was-he-an-all-star/

She asked "do you know his stats?" So I looked them up, and with a couple exceptions his 2017-18 and career stats better across the board. Makes perfect sense: NBA props your league up for 20 years, so call out one of the NBA's good guys and his stats when they're better than yours playing in an infinitely harder league.

I don't care if he's a good guy or not, he's still overpaid and the WNBA players should be getting paid more. They shouldn't have to go Europe and play ball year round just to live a comfortable life. I know a lot of it has to do with revenue as well, but they should be making six figures and not 5. Also comparing the WNBA and the NBA's difficulty level is ridiculous when a WNBA team's 12th woman would still whoop your ass in a game of 1 on 1.

But nobody gives a f**k about that league, hence it doesn't generate revenue, hence its players get paid s**t. She should shut the f**k up about players in the NBA and what they get paid. Comparing her WNBA salary to those in the NBA is ludicrous. She should be embarrassed for making a statement lie that.

They don't generate any revenue because of how the league and the players have been marketed or the lack there of. The league has been mishandled since Stern and the NBA Board approved it in 96. Plus back then it was still a "bad" thing for women to be outspoken and fight for equality and women's rights. Had this latest push for women's rights and equality happened back then, I think the league would have been more successful. Not NBA level successful but they wouldn't be seen as the joke they are now. I don't know if its possible for them to catch up now, probably not, but they deserve to be getting paid more. Not millions of course but low-mid six figure salaries are more than realistic.

I'm calling b******t on that, man. The league isn't successful because the game is boring to watch. It has nothing to do with poor marketing. Outside of tennis and maybe golf (non team sports), woman's sports is not very popular in the USA. It's not sensational enough. It doesn't make money because people don't care for it. They could put it on espn every single night on prime time and nobody would watch. They could blanket advertising and coverage on it and still nobody would care. They don't pay the woman more because it doesn't make that much money.

The WNBA only pays players roughly 20 percent of total league revenue, or $11 million split between every player in the league, according to Berri's studies. The NBA pays players about half of league revenue, or about $3 billion.

They could double the percentage of revenue paid to its players and that would still only be $22 Million. That's basically a better than average NBA players yearly salary. The entire league makes only $55 million a year. Compared to the nba's $6 BILLION. Why in the hell should she get paid anything close to what Barnes makes if she isn't bringing in the sort of revenue NBA players bring in?

If that league weren't subsidized by the NBA it would have folded after a couple years, just like the other women's pro league that started around same time but didn't have financial backing of the NBA.

It's your opinion Barnes is overpaid, but the reality is he's worth whatever the market will bear, and when teams are printing money with their TV deals, the market bears a lot. You know, lucrative TV deals, because it's a sports league many millions of people actually want to watch.

And stellar point about the 12th woman off the bench...dumb, irrelevant, and weirdly emotional.
