No they're not. Warriors are not even fully engaged and are half game behind the Rockets. Rockets are going all out to win games - Warriors are half-assing their way to 50 wins already.
Warriors are by far the most talented team and are the best team in the NBA easily.
If Rockets and Warriors played a 7 game series starting tonight - Warriors will be favorites even without the home court.

They are not easily the best team. That's GSW fanboy BS. They should be the favorites but not by much. If they were easily the best, they'd be heavily favored.

Lol at saying the best team easily. Houston is playing better basketball than the Warriors. If you have been watching both teams play you would know this. This is not 2016-17. The Warriors are not as good and Houston is clearly much better with the addition of Paul and the improvement of Capela.
We shall see if the Warriors can flip a switch in the playoffs and play inspired basketball. I think they will need to because the Rockets will be the best team they have faced in the playoffs in this 4 year run.

I guess you don't realize that the guy saying the Warriors are easily the best team hates the Warriors. Anything but a GSW fanboy as you put it.

Hence why it is SO important they get Lebron and PG this offseason. Can be no doubts.

Yeah, I was going to say. 4ML is anything but a Warriors fanboy. I think he does have a point, in that during the playoffs the rotations tighten. Your best players play more, and the Warriors potentially go multiple HOFers deep. But NJ is right too, that Houston or any number of teams could take out the Warriors if they play like this come playoff time. I think they can flip the switch, and will obviously be more engaged come post season. You just have to worry if they have been building bad habits that might be hard to shake.

There is a diffference between being the best team in the NBA right now (which I said Houston is) and being the team that will be the favorite in the playoffs. As defending champions and a 60 win team I would expect them to still be favored to win it all.
My concern, even with a tighter rotation, is that many of their key players have not played as well this year. Draymond, Iggy, Shaun, and even Curry havent played like they have in the past. Steph is still shooting it well but his defense and his turnovers have certainly been a concern. Can they flip the switch in the playoffs? Sure. My point is they will need to play their best to beat this Houston team that is loaded on the offensive end and much improved on the defensive end. If they turn it over and keep these bad habits like you mention it will be very tough to overcome.

Do you guys even NBA? When playoffs begin - they'll be a lot better than they're now. The team will be making it's 4th consecutive Finals and ppl expect them to play at their best in regular season?
They can play at 75% and still keep up with Rockets in the standings. That tells you everything.

I still take GS over Hou. They just match up better. Klay is a good defender and Harden won't be putting up 40+ 10 assists every night like that in a 7 game series with Klay / Iggy guarding him. And Durant is still the most unguardable player in the NBA. Paul will have to play out of his mind for them to win that series, and one thing Paul hasn't done yet is dominate in the playoffs.

This is true. Rockets are trying so hard to get the number 1 seed compared to the current Warriors but with the lack of depths and defense it's concerning. People forget two years ago Warriors on pace to break the regular season record and they got burn out when the playoffs started that is the Rockets right now. Not sure if they will be burn out when the playoffs starts but we will see.
But I also agree with John that this Rockets team this year is the most talented team they will face on their 3 year run.

People didnt forget. Its just been two years, so people like to rewrite history...like you are doing.
The Warriors werent burnt out after winning 73 games. That is unless you think the burnout started during game 5 of the NBA Finals. I thought this silly narrative has been squashed by now?
