Cleveland went none from eight at the offensive end in a pathetic and panicky last minute choke to fall 118-113 to Golden State.
The Cavs did not score in the final two minutes and 45 seconds as the Warriors, led by Kevin Durant, went on a clutch 11-0 run at the death to stun Cleveland on their home court and snatch any confidence the Cavaliers had that they could be a threat in this series.
Having led 113-107 with three minutes left, the Quicken Loans Arena was banging.
Two minutes and 30 seconds later, the arena was deflated.
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving both delivered superstar performances, but dissolved when it mattered the most.
Both stars missed multiple shots in the final thee minutes while their rivals came up big when the pressure was at its peak.
