Trevor Lawrence will see action at some point, but I expect Clemson's defense to hold down the Aggies to the point where the aTm defense gets put out on the field continuously and breaks in the second half. There is no reason this game won't be very similar to Clemson's road trips to Virginia Tech and Louisville last year. Kyle Field is bigger, sure, but in terms of quality of team I would put aTm behind Virginia Tech. Look for RB Travis Etienne to bust off some long runs in the second half as that Aggie defense gets tired.

Oh that's nice. Who made money? I did.

God if we do not land N'Keal Harry in SF I will be sad.

Well played. I knew when we fumbled it on the goalline instead of going up 21-6 to end the half that this was going to be a white knuckler. Jimbo schooled the defense in the second half, although Mond got away with multiple throws that should have been picks, including two TDs. That last one was literally in the arms of our defender and glanced off into the receiver's hands for the TD.

Clemson needs to figure out what the hell they want to do on offense. We have the horses to play the deep ball, but our rotations are all screwy. Giving a RB like Etienne fewer than 10 carries is ridiculous. This game was straight out of the Deshaun Watson era where we clearly had more talent, but our lockdown defense just fell apart in the second half and we had curious offensive gameplans. We got away from that last year for whatever reason and crushed most of the inferior teams we faced, but tonight was miserable. A win's a win though.

Fun to watch Herm do his thing with ASU tonight. Big win for the Sun Devils.

Clemson is an excellent team, but there will be bumps on the way

Good chance they cover their next game
Not sure on what lines I'm going to take this week, nothing really jumps out to me. I'm 5-1 on the year on games I placed bets.

Games I'm going to research more into and pick at most 5:

Oklahoma (-19) at Iowa State
Ohio at Virginia (-6.5)
Boise State (+3.5) at Oklahoma State
UTSA (+20) at Kansas State
Oregon State (+4.5) at Nevada
Mizzou (-7) at Purdue
LA Lafayette (+30.5) at Miss St
Ohio State at TCU (+13.5)
Washignton (-6.5) at Utah

I don't expect SC to get over the 15 point mark. So if you think Texas can load 20+, that may be a good pick. SC's Defense is legit, I just don't know how they'll hold up with the complete ineptitude of the offense.
Narrowed it to 4
Oregon State
TCU
Mizzou
Virginia

Gonna decide tomorrow

Edit:

Only betting one game. Mizzou -7. A stud QB on Mizzou vs a bad pass defense

I'd do Virginia except I think storm conditions favor Ohio

All of these games besides TCU were the ones I liked out of your original list. Ohio State is out for blood, man. Good luck!
Geeked - Hemsley update: He rotated in at RG when we had 2 guys hurt. He played well enough against Michigan State that we are starting him at LG.

This might be the biggest offensive line ASU has had in over 15 years. I think the average size of our starting 5 is 6'5 315lbs

I don't bet on ASU, but SD State QB might be out. Line is only 4.5. Maybe I'm way too biased (which is why I'm avoiding ASU) but this looks like easy money. I'd guess the score is ASU 27 SD State 13.

I'm happy for you guys and the kid. SC has probably the worst development staff in the country. I'm pulling for you guys. I like seeing well coached kids enjoy success.

This can be your guys' year. I bleed C&G... but I don't think I've ever been this down on an SC coaching staff.
Gonna be working the Washington/Utah game this Saturday for ESPN. Should be a good game.

I haven't gone to a college game in years and that was at Montana so I'm excited to see what a PAC 12 atmosphere is like.
